Shipping Policy

1. Order Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business hours (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays) after payment confirmation.

During peak seasons or promotional periods, processing times may be slightly longer. We appreciate your patience.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an SMS or email notification with tracking information.

2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

  • Same-Day Delivery (Nairobi & Surrounding Areas): Estimated delivery time is 4-6 hours for orders placed before 3:00 PM.
  • Next-Day Delivery (Kenya-wide): Orders placed before 5:00 PM are shipped via courier and delivered within 24-48 hours.
  • Regional Shipping (East Africa): Delivery takes 3-7 business days depending on location.

Note: Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors such as weather, courier service delays, or public holidays.

3. Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated based on the delivery destination and selected shipping method:

  • Nairobi & Nearby Areas: Ksh. 300 – Ksh. 500
  • Other Kenyan Towns: Ksh. 500 – Ksh. 1,000 (via courier services)
  • East Africa Region: Rates vary based on the location. Contact us for a quote.

Free Delivery: Orders above Ksh. 10,000 within Nairobi qualify for free shipping.

4. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to all locations within Kenya. We also ship to select East African countries upon request.

Note: We currently do not ship internationally outside of East Africa.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via SMS or email. You can use this number to track your order on the courier’s website.

6. Shipping Address

Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate at checkout. We are not responsible for delays or lost packages due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

If you need to update your shipping address after placing an order, please contact us immediately at 0723981091. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but updates cannot be guaranteed once the order has been processed.

7. Lost or Damaged Packages

Techbay Electronics is not responsible for lost or damaged packages during transit. However, if your package is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of the expected delivery date.

We will work with the courier to investigate and resolve the issue. Please keep all original packaging and damaged items for inspection.

8. Customs, Duties & Taxes (For Regional Orders)

For shipments outside Kenya, your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, or other fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price or shipping cost.

Techbay Electronics is not responsible for customs clearance delays. Please check with your local customs office for more details on import duties.
