Returns & Refunds for Electronics Sales
If you purchase a product from Techbay Electronics, you may be eligible for a refund or exchange under the following conditions:
- The item must be returned within 7 days from the date of purchase.
- The item must be in its original, unused condition with all packaging, accessories, and receipts.
- Opened, used, or damaged products are not eligible for a refund.
- Refunds are processed in the original payment method or as store credit.
Refunds for Phone Repairs
We guarantee the quality of our repair services. However, refunds for repairs are only available under these conditions:
- If the repair service does not resolve the original issue, you must report it within 3 days after the repair.
- If we determine that a repair was not done correctly, we will redo the repair at no extra cost.
- Refunds are only offered if we are unable to fix the issue after multiple attempts.
- Refunds are not available for issues caused by new physical damage, water damage, or user mishandling after the repair.
Defective or Faulty Products
If a product is defective, we offer the following solutions:
- If the defect is reported within 7 days of purchase, we will offer a replacement or store credit.
- After 7 days, the product may be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty (if applicable).
Non-Refundable Items
Certain items and services are non-refundable:
- Software, accessories, and consumables (e.g., screen protectors, batteries).
- Special-order items or custom repairs.
- Services where a customer changed their mind after the work was completed.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:

- Provide your order number, proof of purchase, and details about the issue.
- Bring the product (if applicable) to our store at Latema Plaza, 2nd Floor, Office 203, Nairobi.
- Our team will inspect the product or service issue and process your request accordingly.
Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 3-7 business days. If you have not received your refund after this period, please contact us.
